We were hoping tomorrow night’s SMILE meeting would reveal all the details that FPG (Moreland Woods’ corporate owner) is required to provide as part of its application for a Type III Conditional Use Review.
Unfortunately, however, that’s not happening. Last week our group met with Read Stapleton, the planner hired by FPG, and it was clear from our meeting that the Woods’ proposed design is far from finalized. So while Stapleton will be attending Wednesday’s meeting to provide a general overview, he won’t yet have specifics.
Nonetheless, we invite you to show up on Wednesday night to remind FPG that the preservation of Moreland Woods is a high priority to those of us who live in Sellwood-Moreland. See you there! 🌲
